Jim McCabe founded Las Olas Capital in 2020. Prior to Las Olas Capital, Jim was the founder and CEO of Liberty Settlement Funding and Liberty Legal Funding and was responsible for financing over $1 billion dollars in investment-grade receivables and alternative assets. Prior to creating the Liberty Funding Platform, Jim held executive roles at several specialty finance companies.

Under his leadership, Las Olas Capital has become a multi-strategy private investment firm that has participated in multiple 9 and 10 figure exits. In addition to capital investment, Jim aims to provides management support to the executive teams of his portfolio companies, helping them to operate efficiently and reduce cost under a streamlined infrastructure. He directs strategy and chairs the investment committee of Las Olas Capital and also sits on the board of American Bridge Capital, Slips, and Private Credit Partners.

He has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Florida.
